**The coercive style**  : Do what  I say … Effective in turnaround situations , working with problematic employees … It dampens employees motivation 

**The authoritative style** : Come with me … Share the grand vision and what's our role in the vision . Less effective when working with experts / experienced teams.

**The affiliative style** : “People come first”  , Particularly useful for building harmony or increasing morale . But effective with correct feedback.

**The democratic style** : Giving workers a voice in decisions. Employees may feel leaderless

**The pacesetting style** : Set high performance standards , works well with highly competent and self motivated 

**The coaching style** : Focus more on personal development than on immediate work related tasks.
